Textured Bud Vase

This organically textured bud vase was hand crafted with stoneware clay on the wheel. Reduction firing at 1250°C.

This vase is made with a weighty base so that you can also display dry flower arrangements without the vase falling over.

Nature plays an important role in my artwork. I was very lucky to grow up in Oregon—a stunning natural environment. In my pottery you will see patterns inspired by water and waves, sticks and stones, woods and wandering trails.

Sustainability

Living sustainably is important to me. My electricity is generated from renewable sources. I follow strict reduce/reuse/recycle practices in my studio and for shipping methods. I do my best to reuse & recycle bubble wrap, boxes and other shipping materials in perfect condition. Otherwise, I purchase recycled shipping materials.
