This decorative plate is a fabulous addition to any home, bringing bold lines and colors into the space. Decorative ceramic plates allow for great design versatility. You can hang plates on the wall by themselves or in a collection. They can be used to break up horizontal and vertical lines by placing them on a shelf. If you’d like to learn more about decorating with plates, you can read more here.

Amelia’s artwork fuses contemporary design with wild scenes from roaring beaches and pristine forests, reminding us that nature is never far away. Each piece is hand-crafted by the artist from start-to-finish in her studio in Barcelona.

This decorative plate is made with earthenware clay and meticulously painted by hand. This artwork can be used in indoor and outdoor spaces and is not suitable for serving food. Fired at 1000°C.

From the Artist

The Life Cycles Ceramic Art is an original design inspired by my travel to Peru.

Decorative plates are some of my my favorite pieces to make because each one is a world in its own. I made the Inca Visions ceramic plate with the cuerda seca decoration technique. I draw each design using oil and oxides and then carefully fill the spaces with glaze before firing the plate in the kiln (final firing at 1000°C).

I create contemporary ceramic artwork with love and passion in Barcelona, Spain. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. If you're in Barcelona, you're also welcome to make an appointment to purchase work in person and join me for a cup of tea.

If you're not happy with your purchase, I gladly accept returns. You can read more about my terms and conditions here. If you have any questions, please send me a message. I’m very happy to help you!

Living sustainably is important to me. I follow strict reduce/reuse/recycle practices in my studio and the same goes for shipping methods. First, I do my best to reuse & recycle bubble wrap, boxes and other shipping materials in perfect condition. Otherwise, I purchase recycled shipping materials. If you choose to have your package gift-wrapped, I will use new and sustainable materials such as recycled paper and colored twine (no plastic).
