Decorative plates are some of my my favorite pieces to make because each one is a world in its own. I made the Life Cycles ceramic plate with the cuerda seca decoration technique. I draw each design using oil and oxides and then carefully fill the spaces with glaze before firing the plate in the kiln (final firing at 1000°C).
This is a hand-painted original artwork and should be used indoors. This is a decorative plate and is not suitable for serving food.
If you'd like to learn more about how to use ceramic plates in your interior design, including instructions on how to hang decorative plates, read my recent blog post.
I create contemporary ceramic artwork with love and passion in Barcelona, Spain. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and ready-to-ship. If you're in Barcelona, you're also welcome to make an appointment to purchase work in person and join me for a cup of tea.
